Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913, on the campus of Howard University by twenty-two collegiate women. These women wanted to use their collective strength to promote academic excellence and provide assistance to persons in need. Each year our organization recognizes hundreds of students across the nation for their scholastic achievements. The Knightdale-Wake Forest Alumnae Chapter has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships to students in need in Wake County. If you are or know an outstanding student meeting the criteria for one of these scholarships, please click the name of the scholarship to apply.
