EST. 1996 | Excellence in Northeast Wake County

30th Anniversary

On May 11, 1996, twelve visionary women came together with a shared commitment to bring the mission of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated to the growing communities of Northeast Wake County. What began as a vision has grown into three decades of purposeful service, leadership, scholarship, and sisterhood.

As the Knightdale-Wake Forest Alumnae Chapter celebrates its 30th Anniversary, we honor the charter members whose courage and dedication laid the foundation for the chapter we proudly serve today. Their vision created more than an organization; they created a lasting legacy that continues to uplift individuals, strengthen families, and transform communities.

Over the past thirty years, KWF Alumnae has expanded its reach through impactful public service initiatives, youth development programs, scholarships, health and wellness activities, economic empowerment efforts, and advocacy. Hundreds of youth and families throughout our service area have benefited from the chapter’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

This anniversary is more than a celebration of our history. It is a celebration of every soror who has contributed her time, talents, and heart to advancing our mission. It is also an opportunity to look ahead with renewed purpose as we continue Building Together: A Future of New Possibilities.

As we commemorate this milestone, we proudly honor our past, celebrate our present, and embrace the future with the same spirit of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action that has guided us since 1996.

Thirty years of impact. Thirty years of purpose. Thirty years of making a difference—together.
